Module 12 - How To Become A Million Dollar Mentor - Super Success Comes From Super Successors

Most individuals who know me when I begin talking about the concept of "duplication" think I'm only talking about the duplication process as it relates to network marketing.

That is a LONG WAY OFF from what I am talking about. What I'm talking about is much deeper, much longer lasting, much more fulfilling than just finding and training someone to be productive in your downline.

What I am talking about is investing your life in the lives of others as many times as possible in your lifetime. Some may call it mentoring, others call it coaching, I'm just going to call it investing your life in the life of someone else, not to make them exactly like you... but investing your life in someone else to bring out excellence in them.

None of us are fully equipped to excel in life. Our weaknesses, blind spots, limited capabilities, and lack of experience all point to one thing - interdependence.

That's why it's incredibly important to invest your life in others.

Let me put it another way... "If you want to influence the world, just find a way to influence the top ten people in the world."

Now, you may not have the ability to influence the top ten people in the world, but you do have a way to influence others right now who may one day become one of the top ten people in the world... and don't say that it is impossible, stranger things have happened.

It is unfortunate that in our "self-focused" society we fail to see the difference that can be made by investing our time, efforts, and resources in others.

Sir Randolph Churchill was in deep trouble. Traveling to Scotland for a speech, he found his carriage hopelessly stuck in mud. Desperate, Sir Randolph noticed a lad crossing the fields toward them leading a team of giant draft horses.

The youth saw the problem and offered to help. Before leaving, Churchill wanted to pay the lad, but he wouldn't hear of it: "Thank you, sir, but it was the least that I could do. It was a privilege to help such an important person as yourself."

Then the politician asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" The farm boy replied, "I'd like to be a doctor." But his family didn't have the money for school. "Then I will help you become a doctor," said Sir Randolph. Churchill kept his promise, sponsoring the young man who graduated from medical school.

Decades alter, during World War II, the son of Sir Randolph was now a statesman himself. Winston Churchill lay deathly ill from pneumonia. His doctor had heard of a new experimental drug, penicillin. He used it saving Churchill's life. The drug had been discovered by a doctor named Alexander Fleming. Fleming was the Scottish lad who had pulled out Sir Randolph's carriage. The father's influence and mentoring had saved his son's life, and potentially sealed the victory for England.

Are you prepared to make all the difference in the world in someone's life? Are you prepared to invest your life in others?

By now I hope you realize there is much more to the Millionaire Mindset than focusing just on the financial part of it. It really is all about knowing who you are, what gifts you have been given, why you are here and then growing, developing, maturing, and becoming all that you can be in order to have a positive influence and relationship on others.

Now go out and begin to develop others!
