Are You Fiscally Fit? Financially Sound??

As you have discovered by now, developing the Millionaire Mindset is more about YOU and less about money and wealth.

What's important for you to realize is that if money becomes your primary motivation, somewhere along your journey you'll come up feeling empty.

However, when you focus on YOU, who you are, what you bring to the table, your dreams, your abilities, your purpose; then money and wealth just become tools to use to accomplish those dreams.

This module places an emphasis on having your money work for you, not you working for your money. It centers around three major components of personal finance: planning, debt reduction and elimination, and financial independence.

Many individuals never reach their dream of building wealth, early retirement, and becoming financially independent because of a failure to be FISCALLY fit, or financially sound.

In Module Two we focused on the importance of being PHYSICALLY fit, here it is on FISCAL FITNESS!

In fact, if you miss everything else in this module, get this:

Having a lot of money does not make you rich or wealthy, and in fact it reveals how bad a person's financial intelligence and Millionaire Mindset really is.

Just look at a couple of examples:

Evelyn Adams, won the New Jersey lottery not once, but twice (1985 and 1986), for a total of $5.4 million. Today the money has been long gone and she lives in a trailer in New Jersey. She had the millions, she just did not have the Millionaire Mindset.

Bud Post won $16.2 million in the Pennsylvania lottery in 1988 but now lives on Social Security. A former girlfriend successfully sued him for a share of the winnings. A brother hired a hit man to kill him hoping to inherit a share of the winnings. Other siblings nagged him to invest in a car dealership and a restaurant, neither which were successful. Within one year, he had lost all his money and was more than $1 million in debt. He now lives on $450 a month Social Security and food stamps. Post had the millions, he just did not have the Millionaire Mindset.

"Words such as millionaire, multimillionaire and billionaire carry a magic and compelling ring. Understandably enough, many people are mesmerized by those words, by what they think those words imply-and by the thought of piling up a personal fortune as an end in itself.

These people seem to believe that every millionaire has his millions in ready cash, stored in strongboxes beneath his bed or in a handy wall safe in his library, to hold or squander according to his whim. They also apparently believe that money can buy them everything and solve all their problems." ~ J. Paul Getty, multi-billionaire and author of, "How To Be Rich"

Working to become financially sound, and gain a measure of financial intelligence, you do not have to become an accountant, however you do need to become accountable.

You have to take stock of where you are financially. Essentially a "snap-shot" of your current financial situation: budgets, income, expenses, and debts.

Understanding your financial picture, your cash flow and financial management, is an absolute necessity for you to obtain the Millionaire Mindset and reach your dreams.

Think about the following questions:

What am I spending my money on?

How much money am I investing on a regular basis?

Am I carrying to much debt and is the interest rate killing me?

What are my financial goals in the next 12 months?

Don't forget this is a process... not a destination. Your financial picture will not change overnight. This module is not going to be a lesson in micro waved money management or instant financial success.
